July 2018
Stuttgart, Germany is where I now call home. It is the capital of Baden-Wurttemberg and pretty close to France, Switzerland, and Austria. Stuttgart is best known for being the headquarters of Mercedes, Porsche and Bosch.
Killesberg Park is the first place I went for a run.
I arrived during the World Cup. It was really nice to sit outside watching the games drinking German beer.
Next to the Porsche museum is a Porsche dealership and a manufacturing plant. So you can fall in love with Porsche, buy a Porsche, then see it made all in one place.

The Porsche museum is cool because it is Porsche. The Mercedes – Benz museum is interesting because it provides more of a history of transportation. Mercedes built engines for the first cars, as well as boats and aircrafts.
A local train can take you to Ludwigsburg Palace. It has beautiful gardens and the circus was in town.
Repunzel’s Castle.
There are many circuses in Germany. This one was a lot of fun. No animals and great performers.
The Stuttgart Library is very sleek. You can go on the roof and get a nice view as well.
There was a really nice free outdoor concert in front of the opera house. Every weekend over the summer there is a festival or special event.
This is the town of Sindelfingen, where I work.
This is an exhibit in the local museum by some of our students.
I am happy to be here.
